About Me

I grew up in Upstate New York and it has made me passionate about providing therapy and consultation services to the area.  My biggest hobbies include reading, working in the local wine industry as a sommelier, cooking, following soccer leagues, and watching movies.

Training

I graduated from St. Bonaventure University with the Carl Wagner Award in Psychology in 2010.  I went on to Marywood University's PsyD program where I earned my doctorate.  My dissertation and research focused on technology's impact on mental health, namely exercise trackers and disordered eating/obsessive exercising.  I completed my doctoral internship at Drexel University's Counseling Center.  I love working with students and I have gained great experience working at Marywood University, Drexel University, Ithaca College, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

I have completed clinical hypnosis training through the American Society for Clinical Hypnosis. More recently, I have received extensive training through Mount Sinai in hypnosis and therapy for fatigue in cancer patients.
